ABOUT AXSUN : FACILITIES   Axsun Facilities Axsun's headquarters and primary manufacturing facilities are located 20 miles north of downtown Boston in the town of Billerica, with two adjacent buildings totaling 72,000 square feet. The current facility contains the following: Corporate, Sales & Marketing and Finance functions Phase 1 of manufacturing clean room space Engineering development of the packaging platform including: Micro-lens fabrication Platform assembly process development Robotic technology development and equipment assembly All product development State of the art photolithography Thin-film coatings and filter deposition MEMS characterization and assembly Qualification, Reliability and Test functions Directions to Axsun Headquarters Facility Axsun West Facility (LIGA Design and Manufacturing) The Axsun-West Coast facility is located 41 miles east of San Francisco, California in the Greenville Business Park, one mile due north of the Lawrence Livermore and Sandia National Laboratories. The 14,500 sq. ft. facility consists includes 3,500 sq. ft of office space and 11,000 sq. ft for manufacturing and laboratory uses. The laboratory and manufacturing areas are dedicated to LIGA processing, supporting AXSUN products and providing foundry services for outside customers. The facility includes individual laboratories for various steps in the LIGA process: electroplating, chemistry, lapping/polishing and machining, and a class-100 clean room.
