Technologies Announces Exclusive Cardiac Supply Agreement for Advanced
OCT Tunable Lasers with LightLab Imaging
BILLERICA, Massachusetts (May 27, 2008) – Axsun Technologies
Inc., a leading developer and manufacturer of advanced photonic components
and subsystems, today announced that the company has entered into
a multi-million dollar volume purchasing agreement with LightLab
imaging. Under this multi-year exclusive agreement for cardiac Optical
Coherence Tomography (OCT), Axsun will provide advanced tunable lasers
for Lightlab’s next generation OCT imaging system.
“Swept Source OCT enables extremely high speed imaging with
10X higher imaging resolution than Ultrasound”, noted Dale
